The Legend Of The End Times In Biochemical Warfare

Author : 量子永生

Genres : Sci-Fi

Status: Completed

Description:

In a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies, Jill and Nicole encountered a mysterious Chinese man

Using the renowned film "Resident Evil" as the framework and setting for the entire book, it is particularly noteworthy that the majority of the characters in the book are based on those from the game, with their names remaining unchanged.

As a post-apocalyptic novel, the author Quantum Eternal Life has crafted this work with remarkable intricacy

As DeadManWalks mentioned in the novel review section

This is what a novel should be; the rampant monster-slaying and farming for dominance found on platforms like Qidian have long since become unappetizing. It is truly amusing that there are still people who praise those books for their character portrayals.

The author extensively employs settings from Resident Evil and I Am Legend, particularly some character names, which are truly nostalgic. The writing leans more towards depicting characters and their conflicts, without much focus on the various monsters of the bioweapon genre. Many mutated creatures and deeply infected beings that appeared in Resident Evil are absent. I actually hope to see those classic monsters make an appearance, but I also do not wish for the protagonist to engage in any safe mutations or practice any form of energy cultivation. Human physical abilities are not particularly outstanding in the natural world; what truly sets us apart from other species is our dexterous hands and exceptionally high intelligence. Rather than daydreaming about becoming superhuman, it is better to think practically about how to utilize tools. Even in the Resident Evil series of games, there has never been a mutated protagonist; Wesker is an antagonist, and he was ultimately defeated by the protagonists. In this regard, the games are much better than the movies. Since the movie series introduced safe mutations and superpowers, I have been disgusted and no longer wish to watch it. Just as the Right General of the Han Dynasty said

In my personal opinion, this is a good book, with a rigorous setting and concise language. Perhaps my own limited knowledge has prevented me from seeing much of the world. However, the above comments represent my personal views and should not be subject to criticism.

I do not know why, but after reading this biochemistry-themed novel, my first impression was surprisingly "refreshing." This adjective may seem strange, but it is indeed my genuine thought. Yes, this is a book that brings comfort.
